By helping residents stay healthy and engaged, ILP’s TRIP contributes to Riverside County’s goals of aging in place, reducing isolation, and improving quality of life.
Recognized nationally as a best-practice model in volunteer transportation, TRIP demonstrates how collaboration, innovation, and local investment can create lasting impact.
We drive community and independence
Growing to serve more
Riverside County is experiencing rapid growth among older adults — a shift that will significantly increase demand for caregiving, independent living services, and senior transportation. For many residents, traditional public transit is not a viable option, making flexible, person-centered transportation essential to maintaining health, independence, and connection to community.
As demand grows, TRIP Riverside County is preparing to serve more riders while maintaining the individualized, rider-directed model that has defined the program for more than 30 years.

Partners help make it possible
